Editio is an entirely Québécois project using the talents of professionals in the province from all spheres - art, literature, education, technical, marketing and distribution.
Editio is aiming at a global market, with works on different subjects and in many languages. The first collections are in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. Versions in German, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Greek and Arabic will appear in 2014.
Editio publishes its titles on ePub, MOBI, MOTTO and in print, to reach all the world's readers. By publishing in three languages (English, French and Spanish) right from the start, Editio can reach a very wide audience across the planet. Stories in Italian and Portuguese in early 2014 will further expand the audience for the LITTERA collection.
The MOTTO version combines text, pictures and narration using the wonderful voices of professionals who include, for the English version, Diane C. Skiejka and Michael Farkas.
This avant-garde Québécois technology, for which Editio holds an exclusive licence for publishing, means that highly interactive digital books can be speedily created and made available on digital tablets, computers and IDTs using the main Web browsers. The fact that the books are multi-platform ensures a wider variety of distribution methods.
"MOTTO" technology gives Editio unique advantages allowing the creation of "living" books with infinite sequels. In the near future, characters from a given collection will be able to go from one book to another to guide readers in their desire for information or for a solution to a problem.
Editio's marketing strategy aims to ensure the presence of digital books on digital distribution networks by increasing sales channels in order to boost product visibility. The multichannel strategy means that the Internet can be linked up to app stores. The idea is to make the most of the increasing numbers of consumers who use multiple distribution channels for their purchases.
The principle sales channels are as follows: Direct sale at the Editio transactional site, via an online bookstore supplied by a digital warehouse (aggregator), or via a major e-distributor in the form of a future application.
